Usually the date on any post shows on upper side. You may place that 'date' left side or right side by some tweaking on 'edit html' page. But in this 'Halo' template, the date shows on the left side like a sidebar. This is a actually 2 columns template. But it has a footer with 3 columns. So this template might go on 3 Columns 'label'.
